Hello my name is Stacy Ju.
I became a Christian at STRAM CAMP. There, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
The reason why I'm getting baptized is to tell people that I am a believer.
If I get baptized, it will be like a reminder, or something to remind me of who I truly am, a Christian. Getting baptized doesn't make me a believer, but it shows that I already believe. It's the outward symbol of the commitment I made in my heart.
I think my life, after the baptism, will be different. I hope to be a better Christian and I also want to have a better relationship with God.
I would like to thank the teachers I had in the past, my family, pastors, and God. He has supported, helped, and encouraged me throughout my life.

저는 초등학교때 스트램켐프에 가서 그리스도인이 되었습니다. 그 켐프에서 저는 예수그리스도를 저의 주님과 구세주로 영접하였습니다.
제가 이번에 침례를 받기 원하는 이유는 모든 사람들에게 제가 그리스도인이란 것을 고백하기 위해서입니다. 그리고, 제가 침례를 받게되면, 제가 받은 침례를 생각할 때마다 제가 진정으로 그리스도인이란 사실을 기억하게될 것입니다.
물론, 침례를 받는 것 자체가 저를 그리스도인으로 만드는 것이 아니란 것을 압니다. 저는 이미 그리스도인이므로, 침례는 단지 제게 이미 믿고 있는 것에 대한 고백으로 받는 것입니다. 제 마음으로 주님께 드린 저의 헌신을 외적으로 표현하는 의식이라고 생각합니다.
제가 침례를 받은 후에 저의 삶이 달라지리라 생각합니다. 저는 좀 더 나은 그리스도인이되기를 원하고 하나님과도 좀 도 긴밀한 관계를 갖기 원합니다.
지난 여러해 동안 저를 가르쳐 주셨던 선생님들에게 감사드립니다.

Stacy, it's indeed a blessing to you and us as well that you publically idnetified yousefl with Christ before God and the congreagtion. I pray that you will always remember that moment of being baptized especially, may God forbid, if you have to go through some doubt or difficulties. I pray also that those who witnessed your baptism may remember you in their prayer. I as one will try to remember you in my daily prayer.
No one in our congreation would doubt that God will use you in a special way since you are gifted in many things. You always stood out like children-teacher even as child yourself. Even now, I honestly say that you could do better job than myself in terms of teaching children. I am sure you will continue to help children and your friends.
