1) There is going to be a special seminar, teaching by Choi MSN (Jeannie and Sue's dad)
The seminar is on "Holy Spirit"
Day: Aug. 5 - 7 (Thurs - Sat)
Time: 7:30 pm
This is a very special occasion for our church. I believe that God has prepared this unique opportunity for our church, especially for our 10th anniversary.
One big obstacle is language issue; Pastor Choi will teach in Korean.
I know that everyone in our group is in different level of Korean, but our learning attitude could take us lot longer than what we think we could.

2) Summer Retreat (Aug 20, 21, 22) (Friday - Sunday)
God has connected us to very special person for our guest speaker.
His name is Daniel Kim. (Not Robin Kim's Brother)
He has been serving as staff of CCC (Campus Crusade for Christ) at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
He is currently serving as Worship Leader at Flood Church in San Diego
He is attending Bethel Seminary in San Diego.
Let's prepare for this retreat by prayers first.

I strongly recommend you this seminar.
You guys already showed your ability in Korean singing "주님 다시오실 때 까지".
This is a too good chance to miss, learning about Holy Spirit, the most important knowledge to have to live a new life as a born again christian in this world.
