Poem: "The Narrow Road"

"The Narrow Road"
From two roads to choose there are
Both are different, one is far
Far one narrow, the other broad
Broad one will not spare the rod
To walk the broad one, so very easy
The broad one lets you walk so freely
Walking the narrow, strict and hard
Yet on this road, sentries guard
I walked the narrow, the devil pushed me
To the broad I fell unknowingly
God himself picked me up off my knees
He put me back on the narrow with ease
My sinful nature puts me back on the broad
And the one who saved me again my God
The devil tempts me to this day
But always with me my God will stay
From two roads to choose there are
Both are different, one is far
Far one narrow, the other broad
Broad one will not spare the rod
To walk the broad one, so very easy
The broad one lets you walk so freely
Walking the narrow, strict and hard
Yet on this road, sentries guard
I walked the narrow, the devil pushed me
To the broad I fell unknowingly
God himself picked me up off my knees
He put me back on the narrow with ease
My sinful nature puts me back on the broad
And the one who saved me again my God
The devil tempts me to this day
But always with me my God will stay
