Post from Jeannie's facebook. Please keep her mission trip in prayer.
We [My dad, Another missionary, A Nurse from Korea, Two people visiting from the States, Me, A Mongolian Translator, The Driver] are heading out the the Gobi tomorrow. We are going to be doing medical clinic and some Bible teaching there. So please pray for us. Pray for safety, pray for good health, pray for the patients, pray for the students who are going to be receiving the teaching. Pray for the church and Bible college we are going to. That they will be encouraged and strengthened. Yeahh.
Right now, Im feeling so many different things. I dont know how Im going to survive the 15 hour bus trip. Im kind of disappointed that I cant go to Youth Group this Friday. I know it would be so much fun. I dont know if I can live off just Mongolian food for 4 days. I wont see friends for 4 days. This is stepping out of my comfort zone. Living in UB, Going to the Co-op, Having Korean/American Food. Thats not stepping out of my comfort zone. Though this trip, I just really want to go! Go beyond what I am doing right now to a new, different world. I want to see God work right before my eyes, I want to see His handiwork and be amazed, I want to be challenged much deeper, I want to be renewed again, I want to be an encouragement, I want to love.
God will work in me and though the whole team. And He will work in the Gobi. Pray that we will really be sensitive to His Spirit. Pray that we will plant good seeds there. That God will prepare the soil right now. That God will pour out Himself on them. That in all this He will be honored and glorified. Yeah, so keep us in your prayers this week. Praise the Lord.
Psalms 146:1
Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, O my soul.
