사랑의 대가 The Price of Love [ 이사야 53:9 - 53:12 ] - 찬송가 144장
그가 자기 영혼을 버려 사망에 이르게 하며 이사야 53:12
우리 부부가 부모님께 작별인사를 하며 손을 흔들자 딸이 울음을 터뜨렸습니다. 부모님은 우리가 사는 영국을 방문하시고 미국에 있는 집으로 막 돌아가려는 참이었습니다. 딸이 “할아버지 할머니, 가지 마세요.”라고 말했습니다. 내가 아이를 달래고 있는데 남편이 “사랑의 대가가 이런 거겠지.”라고 말했습니다.
우리가 사랑하는 사람들과 헤어질 때 마음이 아프듯이, 예수님도 십자가에서 극심한 박탈감을 느끼시며 사랑의 대가를 치르셨습니다. 이사야가 “그가 많은 사람의 죄를 담당하리라”(사 53:12)라고 한 예언은 700년 후에 인간이시며 하나님이셨던 예수님에 의해 성취되었습니다. 이사야 53장에는 고통 받는 종으로 오시는 예수님을 묘사한 부분이 많이 있습니다. 예를 들면, 예수님을 십자가에 못 박고 한 군인이 창으로 주님의 옆구리를 찔렀을 때(요 19:34)를 가리키는 “그가 찔림은 우리의 허물 때문이요”(사 53:5)와, “그가 채찍에 맞으므로 우리는 나음을 받았도다”(5절)와 같은 부분입니다.
사랑 때문에 예수님은 이 세상에 오셔서 아기의 모습으로 태어나셨습니다. 사랑 때문에 주님은 많은 율법학자들과 군중들, 그리고 군인들에게 박해를 받으셨습니다. 사랑 때문에 주님은 하나님 아버지 앞에서 우리를 대신하여 고난을 받아 온전한 희생 제물로 돌아가셨습니다. 우리는 사랑 때문에 살고 있습니다.
• 우리의 죄를 없애주신 하나님의 어린양 주 예수 그리스도시여! 우리에게 자비를 베풀어주시고, 우리가 다른 사람들에게 자비와 사랑을 베풀 수 있도록 도와주소서. 오늘 우리가 다른 사람들과 주님의 사랑을 어떻게 나눌 수 있는지를 보여주소서.
예수님은 우리에게 생명을 주시기 위해 온전한 희생 제물로 돌아가셨다.
9. 그는 강포를 행하지 아니하였고 그의 입에 거짓이 없었으나 그의 무덤이 악인들과 함께 있었으며 그가 죽은 후에 부자와 함께 있었도다
10. 여호와께서 그에게 상함을 받게 하시기를 원하사 질고를 당하게 하셨은즉 그의 영혼을 속건제물로 드리기에 이르면 그가 씨를 보게 되며 그의 날은 길 것이요 또 그의 손으로 여호와께서 기뻐하시는 뜻을 성취하리로다
11. 그가 자기 영혼의 수고한 것을 보고 만족하게 여길 것이라 나의 의로운 종이 자기 지식으로 많은 사람을 의롭게 하며 또 그들의 죄악을 친히 담당하리로다
12. 그러므로 내가 그에게 존귀한 자와 함께 몫을 받게 하며 강한 자와 함께 탈취한 것을 나누게 하리니 이는 그가 자기 영혼을 버려 사망에 이르게 하며 범죄자 중 하나로 헤아림을 받았음이니라 그러나 그가 많은 사람의 죄를 담당하며 범죄자를 위하여 기도하였느니라

Our daughter burst into tears as we waved goodbye to my parents. After visiting us in England, they were starting their long journey back to their home in the US. “I don’t want them to go,” she said. As I comforted her, my husband remarked, “I’m afraid that’s the price of love.”
We might feel the pain of being separated from loved ones, but Jesus felt the ultimate separation when He paid the price of love on the cross. He, who was both human and God, fulfilled Isaiah’s prophecy seven hundred years after Isaiah gave it when He “bore the sin of many”(Isa. 53:12). In this chapter we see rich pointers to Jesus being the suffering Servant, such as when He was “pierced for our transgressions”(v. 5), which happened when He was nailed to the cross and when one of the soldiers pierced His side(John 19:34), and that “by his wounds we are healed”(Isa. 53:5).
Because of love, Jesus came to earth and was born a baby. Because of love, He received the abuse of the teachers of the law, the crowds, and the soldiers. Because of love, He suffered and died to be the perfect sacrifice, standing in our place before the Father. We live because of love. Amy Boucher Pye

Jesus was the perfect sacrifice who died to give us life.
9. He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.
10. Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand.
11. After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.
12. Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
