대중의 지혜 [ 고린도전서 1:18 - 1:25 ]
지략이 없으면 백성이 망하여도 지략이 많으면 평안을 누리느니라 - 잠언 11:14
『대중의 지혜』라는 책에 대해 온라인에서는 이렇게 설명합니다. “이 매력적인 책에서 「뉴요커」잡지의 비즈니스 칼럼니스트인 제임스 수로위키는 어처구니가 없을 정도로 단순한 생각을 탐구하고 있습니다. 그 생각이란 소수의 엘리트 계층이 아무리 뛰어나다 하더라도, 그들보다는 오히려 많은 수의 대중이 더 똑똑해서, 문제 해결이나 혁신, 현명한 결정을 내리는 일, 심지어 미래를 예측하는 일에도 더 낫다는 것입니다.”
그는 대중문화에서 정치에 이르기까지 다양한 분야에 걸쳐 한 가지 기본 개념을 제시합니다. 그것은 대부분의 경우 대중이 옳다는 것입니다. 물론 이는 흥미로운 이론이기는 하지만, 선거가 있는 해에, 아니면 리얼리티 텔레비전 쇼에서 누군가가 좋아하는 참가자가 투표에서 탈락할 경우에 이 이론은 아마도 논란거리가 될 것입니다.

하나님의 지혜를 추구하는 최선의 방법은
다른 이들과 함께 그것을 추구하는 것이다.
고린도전서 1:18-25
[18] 십자가의 도가 멸망하는 자들에게는 미련한 것이요 구원을 받는 우리에게는 하나님의 능력이라
[19] 기록된 바 내가 지혜 있는 자들의 지혜를 멸하고 총명한 자들의 총명을 폐하리라 하였으니
[20] 지혜 있는 자가 어디 있느냐 선비가 어디 있느냐 이 세대에 변론가가 어디 있느냐 하나님께서 이 세상의 지혜를 미련하게 하신 것이 아니냐
[21] 하나님의 지혜에 있어서는 이 세상이 자기 지혜로 하나님을 알지 못하므로 하나님께서 전도의 미련한 것으로 믿는 자들을 구원하시기를 기뻐하셨도다
[22] 유대인은 표적을 구하고 헬라인은 지혜를 찾으나
[23] 우리는 십자가에 못 박힌 그리스도를 전하니 유대인에게는 거리끼는 것이요 이방인에게는 미련한 것이로되
[24] 오직 부르심을 받은 자들에게는 유대인이나 헬라인이나 그리스도는 하나님의 능력이요 하나님의 지혜니라
[25] 하나님의 어리석음이 사람보다 지혜롭고 하나님의 약하심이 사람보다 강하니라

The Wisdom Of Crowds [ 1 Corinthians 1:18 - 1:25 ]
Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety. — Proverbs 11:14
The online description of The Wisdom of Crowds reads, “In this fascinating book, New Yorker business columnist James Surowiecki explores a deceptively simple idea: Large groups of people are smarter than an elite few, no matter how brilliant─better at solving problems, fostering innovation, coming to wise decisions, even predicting the future.”
The author uses a variety of things, ranging from pop culture to politics, to present one basic thought: More often than not, the crowd gets it right. It’s an interesting theory, but one that would probably be debated during election years or when someone’s favorite contestant is voted off a reality TV show.
While the Bible makes it clear that the wisdom of crowds may not be reliable and can be dangerous (Matt.7:13-14), there is another way collective wisdom can be helpful. In Proverbs 11:14, we read, “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.” One of the benefits of the body of Christ is that we can assist one another─in part by working together to seek God’s wisdom. When we join together to pursue God’s purposes, we fi-nd safety in His provision of each other and receive His wisdom for the challenges of life. — Bill Crowder

1 Corinthians 1:18-25
[18] For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
[19] For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate."
[20] Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
[21] For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.
[22] Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom,
[23] but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles,
[24] but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
[25] For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.
