Permanent Priesthood (Hebrews 7:23-28

23. Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented the from continuing in office,
24. but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood.
25. Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
26. Such a high priest eets our need-one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens.
Perfect Forever
27. Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once and for all when he offered himself.
28. For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever.

Think:
Have you ever doubted the perfectness of your salvation?
Can you grasp the perfectness and completeness of the work done on the Cross?
1. No, I don't think I ever doubted the perfectness of my salvation. Salvation is perfect, it is also our way to heaven, but why would we ever want to doubt the perfectness?
2. I can grasp the thought of what Jesus has done for us, but the perfectness and the completeness of the work done on the cross is hard to imagine, for me.
Prayer(:
Heavenly Father,
I thank you so much for Jesus, who died on the cross for our sins. I also thank you for loving each and one of us, unconditionally. Everyday, every night, every hour, Lord, you watch over us, your children with sinful nature that you still love. Like it says in Psalm chapter 81 verse 6
" Now I will take the load from your shoulders;
I will free your hands from their heavy tasks."
Lord, let us focus on you and what you have done for us, the love you show us.
In Jesus' name I pray,
Amen.
Everybody. please don not forget to have Mrs. Choi in your prayers. We know that God's working hands will comfort her!
