Officials order man to pay 50-cent debt

Austrian authorities sent a debt collector to a man's house after he underpaid his trash collection bill by 36 euro cents, about 50 U.S. cents, a newspaper said. The man had accidentally overlooked the 36 cents after the decimal place on his bill for 236.36 Euros ($315). The slip-up set the bureaucratic ball rolling, said a spokeswoman from the court which chased the debt. The bailiff's visit cost the man 5 Euros.

The dachshund, a rescue dog from New York, wore an orange sweater and red goggles as her owner accepted the award marking her longevity. Chanel became the world's oldest dog following the death of Butch, the 28-year-old former record holder, in 2003. Through visibly nervous and shaking at times, Chanel posed for photographers as she sat on a red mini-sofa.

샤넬이란 이름의 세계 최장수 견공이 최근 21번째 생일을 맞아 기네스북에 등재되어 기록증을 받고 개 호텔과 스파 이용권을 선물로 받았다. 뉴욕에 살고 있는 이 개는 닥스훈트 종 구조견으로, 주황색 스웨터를 입고 붉은 고글을 쓰고는 주인이 장수 상을 받는 모습을 지켜 보았다. 샤넬은 당시 28세로 최고령 개의 기록을 갖고 있던 부치가 2003년 사망함에 따라 세계 최장수 견공의 타이틀을 얻게 되었다. 긴장한 모습이 역력하고 때때로 몸을 떨기도 했지만, 샤넬은 붉은 미니 소파에 앉아 사진기자들에게 포즈를 취해 주었다.
